We will meet again Onix

It's been a while, but I am working on a few things at the moment!

I'm pretty happy with this one.
I tried a few new colouring techniques which worked out quite well.

This pic has a little story, read on if you're interested -

The girl hugging the onix is named Rosie and she belongs to a family of respected bird pokemon trainers. Her father discovers that she goes out to the forest to spend time with an onix and although she is too young to be a trainer he does not want her spending all her time with a rock pokemon.
He tries everything to keep her away from the onix but she continues to sneak off to spend time with him. Finally her father becomes so frustrated that he decides they will move. Blinded by his own pride he cannot see that he is breaking his daughters heart, tearing her away from her best friend.
This images is just moments before the move, onix doesn't know about it yet and Rosie has come to say goodbye and promises she will come back and find him when she is old enough to be a trainer.
